Cliff Hanger sits on the crest of a cliff above Keurbooms Beach, a modern five-bedroom villa given over entirely to sea and mountain views. From the moment you step through the double doors, the ocean is the room's centrepiece.
The open-plan living area moves easily between lounge, dining and entertainment, with a fireplace, a large flat-screen with full DSTV and a dining table seating ten. Italian marble underfoot in the hall, aged oak in the bedrooms, and fold-back doors throughout that open the house to the light.
Each of the five bedrooms is en-suite, with quality linen and towels, security shutters for open-door sleeping, and, in most, sea views to wake to. The kitchen is fully equipped for a house full of cooks: gas hob, two ovens, two fridge-freezers, wine coolers, ice machine and a breakfast bar. A separate laundry handles the rest.
Days settle around the north-facing pool, salt-chlorinated and warmed for the sun, framed by landscaped garden and a broad deck with loungers. Evenings belong to the undercover built-in braai, with seating for ten, or the sea-facing balcony where a long table takes twelve. The home is serviced weekdays, with Wi-Fi, generator and solar power in place. Suited to adults; no children, pets or smoking. Sleeps up to ten.
