Chabanel House opens onto easy days: coffee in the country kitchen, lunch beside the pool, an unhurried walk to the beach. Four bedrooms, a warm interior and a fully enclosed garden make it an unfussy base for a family stay in Plettenberg Bay.
Wooden floors and wooden shutters run throughout, lending the house a calm, lived-in warmth. The open-plan lounge, dining area and country kitchen flow together, with doors leading out to the covered entertainment area and pool. A separate TV lounge with a smart TV and library offers a quieter corner at the end of the day.
The kitchen is generously equipped for those who like to cook, with a large island, five-plate gas hob, electric oven, wine cellar, dishwasher, walk-in pantry and a scullery. Outside, a built-in gas braai, comfortable sofas and an outdoor dining table sit alongside a swimming pool set in a private garden.
Practical touches make settling in simple: an inverter to see you through load shedding, Wi-Fi included, parking for two cars, a gardener one day a week and a housekeeper each Wednesday for the tenant's account. Pets are considered on request. Please note the pool has no net.
