Protea House opens its doors for the December 2025 to January 2026 summer season: a spacious, well-appointed home within the secure Brackenridge Estate, arranged over two levels for easy, sunlit holiday living.
Days here move gently. Wake in the king-bedded main suite, take breakfast at the island counter in the light-filled upstairs kitchen, then carry coffee out to the covered north-facing patio and its views over the mountains and part of the dam.
Downstairs, the family lounge leads to a private enclosed pool with loungers, an easy place to spend the warmest hours. Upstairs, the open-plan living area gathers around leather sofas, a fireplace, full DSTV and Netflix, with a dining table for eight and a gas Weber braai on the entertainment patio.
The home sleeps six across three en-suite bedrooms, with linen and towels provided and a housekeeper one day a week. Solar panels and an inverter keep everything running through outages, and town and the beaches are an easy drive away.
