Redford Country House is a four-star retreat in the Crags, set on a 50-hectare farm where Georgian, Cape Dutch and Cape Platteland styles meet. Two spacious en-suite bedrooms welcome up to four guests.
Arrive into a large open living area: a lounge with generous sofas and artwork on the walls, opening to a dining space with a fireplace. The newly built farm-style kitchen is light and airy, fully equipped, with a fireplace and doors that lead out to the garden. Laundry facilities are on hand.
Upstairs, two very spacious bedrooms each offer a king-size bed and full en-suite bathroom. Linen, towels and beach towels are all provided, and Wi-Fi and parking are included.
Days unfold slowly here. Take breakfast in the garden, walk the hiking trails across the farm, or spend the afternoon at the communal swimming pool and tennis court. An outdoor entertainment area with braai facilities looks over the garden and the farm beyond. The house runs on an inverter with solar panels. Non-smoking, and no pets.
